News reaches me that The Apples are returning to Manchester shores this April, hitting the monthly Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club at Band on the Wall.

Before the Groovement clubnight metamorphosised into In The Loop, Mixmonster and Schoolmaster stayed behind after their Riot Jazz set to do a DJ gig (see below)  while the rest of the band flew on – we also managed to get a Groovement podcast done so I’ll reupload that as soon as I can. Hopefully we may hook up for another radio show, depending on time, but if you’ve never seen them live, get on it.
