Layfullstop: Aura
From Birmingham but currently residing in Manchester, Lay. (Layfullstop) recently wowed heads not only locally when Kendrick Lamar bobbed into a workshop she was taking part in, but also as a quarter of Cul De Sac and their killer single, Know We Now.
Aura is five minutes of deep, soulful lyricism to lose yourself in, with warm and cushy production from King Burga. It’s blatant from this that Lay is all about the journey, not the quick musical fix, and I’m ready to listen to much more so hopefully that’s on its way.
