Exclusive Preview: Scrimshire’s Forgotten Songs, Vol III
Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, DJ, producer and one of the heads of excellent UK record label Wah Wah 45s Adam Scrimshire releases the downbeat Forgotten Songs Volume Three on Friday, for free.
These five tracks are culled from the sessions spent recording Scrimshire’s last album, Bight. They’ve since been explored in more depth with various friends (including two with Daudi Matsiko, who also makes an appearance on Scorzayzee’s debut album, Aeon: Peace to the Puzzle).
Download the EP here on Friday!
Scrimshire had mixed Daudi’s debut EP, A Brief Introduction To Failure, which you can stream below.
The two also worked together as part of High Hopes Collective, from which another collaborator appears on the EP, Chris Boot.
Chris took the track High Hopes, which Scrimshire was struggling with completing the right way, and added his magic touch. Our exclusive preview is of this track. Enjoy.
Scrimshire reflects that the cupboards are finally cleared with this release, so here’s to new music in the next year.
