Groovement Podcast: Nat Birchall – Ram Dance Man Groovement Special Mix

Tenor and soprano saxophonist Nat Birchall is one of the UK’s finest jazz musicians. He’s also a prime reggae selector and has compiled a Special Mix full of sunshine, laments and hope for Groovement as we head deep into autumn.

Nat also heads up Sound Soul and Spirit Records – where he releases his own jazz works and licenses others to Jazzman – and the Tradition Disc label with Al Breadwinner. Their most recent release – African Shores – sees Nat and Al Breadwinner provide rhythm tracks for legendary Jamaican trombonist Vin Gordon. A third label, Parafono, is in the works, which will see Nat collaborate with Greek musicians.
