A Note From Neptune
If you’re reading this, i’d like you to know that i’m so grateful that you’ve joined me on this journey. as an independent artist, it’s a constant puzzle figuring out how to break through the mold and not get caught up in the waves of algorithms and timelines.knowing that you have chosen to not only support me, but that somehow my art muscled through the flood of every day content, and found you, that is so special to me.
one thing that i take great pride in, is making sure i deliver high quality experiences in my art. so, today you’re reading this note because it is time to enter a nu experience. a visual representation of my inner world. this creation is called “Black Godis”. and it brings me joy to share it with you.
it is a dedication to BLACK WOMEN. the ones that raised me, inspired me, pour into me, love on me, show me what it means to be both a force and a witness. i am here because of these women. if im being real, WE ALL ARE! so i offer this creation into the world with the hopes that my sistahs, our mothers, our mother’s mother, and beyond feel a deep reverence in what has become of this selection.
with love, Nep
