New Music / Mamilah: Moonlight Walking
Instantly bright and soulful jazz out today from Leeds-based Mamilah, the sun suitably breaking through the clouds as I write this. Afro-flecked, funk-infused big-smile sounds. Would love to catch this lot live, hopefully they’re Manchester-bound soon. If you’re in Leeds tonight though, the launch party is at Belgrave Music Hall and is £3 in, with support from Ed Allen.
