Multi-faceted Manchester creative Katbrownsugar has been enjoying increased success over the past few months. She released the single Turn It Up with Woddy Green as part of the Pink Trees EP on Kush Records at the end of 2017, increased her DJ dates around the city and holds down a consistently excellent show on MCR Live.  Mixcloud awarded her twice in the Best Online Music Show category in 2018’s Online Radio Awards, both as Rising Star and best Hip Hop, RnB and Afrobeats show, describing her as one of Manchester’s most exciting talents. She’s also been featured by BBC Radio 1Xtra and the MOBOs. Kat’s MCR Live show has empowered not only her own broadcasting flow, but her keenness and ability to share other creative vibes emerging from the city. She’s also begun a show on the illustrious NTS Radio with colleague Jack Duckham.
