Kutmah – aka Justin McNulty – is hard at work on his debut album, something many of us have been looking forward to for years. His work ethic is hardly lethargic, check his Bandcamp for proof.
His new single, Bury Me By The River, features Gonjasufi on vocals and instrumentation from Flako. The single and album are on Ninja Tune’s sister label Big Dada which celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year.
Kutmah says:
“Big Dada started the same year I started DJing. Not DJing in clubs or making tapes. Literally when I first touched turntables. If you’d told me in 1997 that I’d one day be releasing my debut album on a label alongside Saul Williams, Anti-Pop Consortium, Abstract Rude, King Geedorah and Roots Manuva I would have laughed!”
