Groovement Podcast – Agent J: Take You Home {July 2015}
One I’ve been trying to find the time to do for a couple of weeks! A two hour monster, as there’s such a great amount of good music out there at the minute.
The first 45 minutes or so is recent soul stuff (with the exception of 1969’s Should I Take You Home, which the second track by Madlib samples brilliantly) including the jaw-dropping Joseph Scaturro track on Hit+Run, out in August.
Then it’s beats and hip hop, with Manchester representations from Mecca:83, Pro P and crew and the finale from Ellis Meade.
