Blurb: This Easter, the guys who give you the Soul Train vibes bring Stockholm’s finest to the Rainy City. We are very pleased to welcome Mad Mats for a one off party at The First Chop Brewing Arm. Mats has been making quality music, releasing on varied and respected labels for years as well as cultivating and growing his own means of output. For those in the know labels like Basic Fingers & Gamm are renowned for the quality of their output. His most recent label Local Talk, continues to refine, define and pay homage to house music in its various shapes and forms. The label is nothing less than consistent and this shows no sign of stopping in 2014.
His DJ career spans more than 20 years. Mats has been running legendary club night Raw Fusion in the heart of Stockholm for 13 years. It has welcomed the likes of Joe Claussell, Jay Dee, Kerri Chandler & Theo Parrish amongst many others to the club. The club continues to dominate and is an important part of the underground scene in Scandinavia. Rocking dance floors comes easy for Mats, his travels as a DJ has taken him from Berlin to NYC and beyond. Recently, Mats has been throwing down sets at events like Southport Weekender, Suncebeat & Vocal Booth. We’ve given Mats the reigns to lead us on a musical journey. We are super excited to bring his talents, music and energy to Manchester for you. So prepare to join us on Saturday 19th April for an evening to remember in the beautiful and unique setting of a working brewery.
