One of those albums that’s been caught in the Matrix, bouncing around since 2009 or so, Pride of the Underdog is Zaman’s most recent body of work that contains all the passion, dexterity and community zeal that you’d expect from the former Asian Dub Foundation frontman. Dub to its heart, Deeder worked closely with Iration Steppas’ Dennis Rootical and legendary producer Adrian Sherwood to produce ten tracks of collaborative rhythm.
