Om Unit – Acid Dub Studies
A ten tracker to lose yourself in, Acid Dub Studies does what it says on the tin from Om Unit, and is no less of a hard hitter because of it – dub reggae, dub techno and ambient themes swirl together nicely. Bristol Theme chugs along menacingly, having being created, I imagine, in Jim’s head “during a period of lonely introspective walks through his home town of Bristol” as the album notes say.
