Happy new year, I hope it was a good one. I declined to DJ in lieu of Baby Groovement being 5 weeks old (and just the horrible, horrible experience of seasonal DJing full stop), and ended up brushing my teeth at midnight and missing the big minute.

The newest podcast has being doing well over on Mixcloud and iTunes, so please have a listen to that at some point. In my hurry to get it out I missed out one of my most-rewound tracks from last year, The D from Guilty Simpson… so here it is.

What with baby coming early and all, I never finished typing up October’s Blackalicious (who I was lucky enough to support on the night) interview for Bonafide, so look for that soon. I’m also invested heavily in an article for the mag about the current state/trend for hip hop x comics, which hopefully will be in the next print issue.

I’m totally loathe to make NY resolutions, but if I did make them it would be to draw more and write more about comics, and hopefully you’ll see some of the latter soon over at Talking Comics.

Sad news today about Natalie Cole and, closer to home, Mark B. Ollie Teeba has put together some of his sounds below.
