This Thursday sees the return of street art photographer Ness Cohen to Terrace, beginning an 8 week exhibition which aims to raise money for homeless charity Mustard Tree. My bezzie MC Bedos will be on the mic, there’s a brass band in attendance, and I’ll be spinning tunes pre-Freekin’, Mof Gimmers’ regular Thursday shinding.

An art event with a difference is descending on Terrace NQ, as part of Museums at Night program of events.

Manchester’s finest Street Artists will be painting live accompanied by a hip-hop style brass band and the art created on the night is to be raffled off with the proceeds going to Mustard Tree, the local homeless charity.

Inside will be the opening night of an 8 week photography and street art exhibition themed around Manchester’s oh so cooool Northern Quarter.

Museums at Night, is an annual UK-wide festival which seeks to encourage visitors into museums, galleries and heritage sites by throwing their doors open after hours and putting on special evening events.

The Northern Quarter are having a spin-off called, ‘After Dark’ and this particular art event will be a collaboration between: myself (Photosbyness), Terrace bar, Manchester’s Finest Street Artists & the uber talented brass band.

Terrace welcomes back Manchester’s most prolific street artists; Jay Sharples ArtSLM artRuss Meehan muralist and graffiti artist and the fresh faced Aylo 🙂
