This dropped into my inbox this morning, and I’ve been chilling marking books to it since. Dreamy, beatscapey type stuff with plenty of snatches of recognisability, but without the monotony that so many beat tapes – by their very nature – can bring. A minute and a half into Bars on Mars is 8-bit heaven.
