Rekindling a love of collecting high end vinyl for some and infuriating those that already did with the former snapping up the limited editions (only joking, collectors!), Death Waltz continues to stamp its custom-designed seal of quality as king of labels on record players across the globe.
Founder Spencer Hickman obviously knows his way around a good selection with his years at Rough Trade (never mind his role as head of Record Store Day UK), and this has been working for me the last few days. Shouts to my phenomenally talented artist pal Joe Snow for pointing it out!
Death Waltz are currently preparing the launch of the Assault On Precinct 13 soundtrack, a seminal and influential score from John Carpenter. The release date’s not set yet, but I’m going to hazard a wild and totally unfounded guess at November.
