On March 27th, SomeOthaShip Connect, the label co-founded by Georgia Anne Muldrow and her life partner (and frequent collaborator)Dudley Perkins, will release Seeds, a collaborative album between Georgia and producer Madlib. Georgia recently announced the East Coast leg of her upcoming tour to support the album, and now is excited to release the album’s second official single, “Husfriend,”

“Husfriend,” which serves as the b-side to recent single and album title track “Seeds,” is an ode to the beauty of committing to another soul, and the song, built around an “Everything I want is here/ All looks perfectly clear” chorus refrain, comes complete with Georgia’s blissed out signature vibe. For his part, Madlib brings a little grit to the mix, with a beat that pairs bass-heavy low-end with crackling sample chops, a rawness that sits perfectly under Georgia’s free-flowing vocals.
