JSWISS and BLVK SAMuRaI remind us to Slow Down
Whatever happens, it’s gonna happen. A message we can all use. A new track from JSWISS is a song with a paradox, as he reminisces on slowing down with a BOUNCE provided by BLVK SAMuRaI which seems intent on defying that very message.
This beat was crafted on the train in France in May 2023 between performances in Deauville and Paris for myself and Michael Leonhart, performing our “Bona Fide” project. BLVK SAMuRaI is also a talented drummer who played drums for the performances, along with our homie Raffaele on bass, and the great Casey Benjamin on sax, who passed away just a few months ago. The three of them were on the train together as he made this beat, and I started writing when I got to Paris.
