Hannah Williams and the Affirmations – Heart Shaped Box

A sweeping cover of Nirvana’s 1993 single from their In Utero album.

The cover was the result of a vote by fans for the band to cover a significant and classic track – Hannah and band have carefully reworked the song remotely over lockdown. It works, epically.

“This release is an ode to the world and its struggles,” say the band. “A nod to the past but also a move into the future, and most of all a tribute to all the amazing people who continue to not only support the band but also support all the important messaging and movements they try to encourage through their art and influence”.
