Last night Gorilla once again played host to the magnificence of Lee Fields and his Expressions, sharing music from the recent LP Special Night on Big Crown Records, plus more from his back catalogue. Electric and as inclusive of his audience as ever, Lee ploughed through the set with his trademark dexterity before leaving a proper pre-encore gap, returning to the stage white-vested and blowing the roof off.

My pal Akse (site, Instragram) was in attendance and was kind enough to let me share some of his snaps on Groovement. I think you’ll agree they show off the many emotions Lee channels over the course of his show… thanks to the Gorilla crew!
