RZA to direct Kung Fu shizzle THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS

In what surely must be a lifelong dream for your friend and mine Bobby Diggs aka THE RZA, Universal’s making a deal to finance and distribute his directorial debut THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS, which he’s co-written with Eli Roth.

“RZA has imagined every tribe, every fighting style, every costume,” Roth said. “He knows kung fu like I know horror.”

I’m making my way through THE TAO OF WU at the moment; a fascinating read which outlines the making of the RZA and one I can recommend to anyone who wants a bit of insight into the hip hop monk, and how he melanged Kung Fu with Five Per Cent thinking.
