Manchester trumpeter and record label head Matthew Halsall has come a very long way since the release of his first album Sending My Love back in 2008. Now with regular BBC airplay from the likes of Gilles Peterson and Jamie Cullum, plus a MOBO nomination and Worldwide Award for best jazz album under his belt, the release of Fletcher Moss Park today should see his star fly even higher.
