Kendrick Lamar & SZA for Marvel’s Black Panther

Anything tying together comics and hip hop perks me up (read some evidence of that over at Bonafide) so it was with a big smile I read the news that Kendrick Lamar and Top Dawg Entertainment are curating – and making new music for – the soundtrack to Marvel’s Black Panther. Here’s the first tune from the film.

Black Panther, of course, has previous with hip hop. Marvel commissioned a series of songs for the launch of the A Nation Under Our Feet series (written by Ta-Nehisi Coates), the playlist of which you can find here.
