On Wax / Miles Bonny x Ta-Ku: Let It Out EP
Following recent work with Big Crown Records, Miles releases his Ta-Ku produced EP Let It Out on another Brooklyn label, Bastard Jazz Recordings. It’s taken a while, almost a decade in fact, between initial email exchanges between the two and this week’s release – in which time they’ve built up a solid friendship based on mutual admiration. It’s an extremely personal one lyrically for Miles, a reflection on fatherhood and the pressures of modern living. It also bumps hard.
