Reach MCR: Hip hop Friday: IN THE LOOP X C’MON FEET // MC WORKSHOP

A hip hopper’s dream this coming Friday in Manchester.

First up there’s workshop shenanigans going on down at NOISELAB on Market Street, put into action by MIND ON FIRE. IN THE LOOP was originally supposed to be running it with the man like BEDOS, but he’s away with THE MOUSE OUTFIT on tour at the Limetree Festival over the weekend: however, local MCs will be stepping up to share thoughts and there’ll be the opportunity to jump up with the Mind on Fire band.

The workshop runs as part of the HEAR NO EVIL, SEE NO EVIL weekend, check the deets here! Workshops all bank holiday weekend ahoy, from drumming to screen printing.

Following the workshop will be IN THE LOOP X C’MON FEET down at the Corner in Fallowfield. As our usual host extraordinnaire BEDOS is away with our usual live band THE MOUSE OUTFIT, we’ll be holding it down with DJs only – both residents Agent J and Gumbo Yaya, plus ten-year old legendary night C’MON FEET bringing their flavour to the party to make one special combo hip hop milkshake. Mmm, milkshake.

Guest host NOEL EDGE of Taste the Diff’rence will be joined by KUARTZ on mic duties – there will still be open mic sessions so head on down following the workshop – we’re open ’til 3 BUT final entry 2AM!!! You’ve been forewarned!
