Watch/Read/Download: SHARON JONES & THE DAP-KINGS update

So the LP I Learned The Hard Way is out, iTunes are featuring the band’s soul choices… it looks like finally the band are getting their due props. Here’s some things to explore from the internets this week.

Start by downloading (for a limited time) the title track from the official Daptone website (click the pic).

Next read the amazing WaxPoetics interview with Desco/Daptone founder Gabe Roth aka producer Bosco Mann. Perhaps an article to rival the legendary Shitty is Pretty (I know Bjoern from Mocambo Records to name just one has it pinned to his wall…).
