GROOVEMENT
Groovement is primarily a radio show/podcast presented by Agent J aka Jamie Groovement. It features special guests and interviews. Formerly broadcast on Sundays for Unity Radio Manchester, it’s now gone independent and podcasts weekly. It’s small but dedicated, chalking up over 50 000 downloads over the iTunes feed from Jan 2009 – Jan 2010, and regularly attracts new listeners.

Groovement also runs IN THE LOOP, a live hip hop night in Manchester, together with THE MOUSE OUTFIT, GUMBO YAYA and DJ A-UP (C’mon Feet).
In the past Agent J has been a resident at vinyl oasis ROOTS BEFORE BRANCHES, Sketch City offshoot THE SKETCHBOOK SESSIONS and PASS IT ON with Frameworks and Peter Parker (Fingathing). He also ran the FAT CITY Bar Sessions from late 2008.
There is a Groovement cat, and his name is Leo.
