DESCRIPTION:Bassist Ida Nielsen’s life was turned upside down when music legend Prince discovered her in August 2010.  \n\n\n\nShortly after\, she joined his band and started touring with him and The New Power Generation as well as the four piece power house rock band\, 3rdeyegirl. \n\n\n\nIda was part of his bands from 2010 until his untimely passing in April 2016. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShe describes playing with Prince as “a huge gift and as the most magical musical journey ever\, and an on-going learning experience beyond all imagination.” \n\n\n\nAfter the years with Prince\, Ida started to focus on her solo career. \n\n\n\nIda has been releasing music on a regular basis and has increased her touring schedules tremendously since 2016. An evolution of sound and styles\, writing and production and of personal growth and maturity.” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThroughout his late teens Coops was making music with his friends\, but it wasn’t until he looked at himself and the world around him that he changed his writing approach and decided to go it alone. “I’ve always had the mind-set that if I’m true to myself and where I am\, as a social commentator or looking inside myself documenting that stage of my life\, then I’ll have endless material.” \n\n\n\nHaving already built a strong momentum for himself with several releases under his belt ( ‘What Do You See’ in 2011\, ‘Lost Soul’ in 2014 & ‘God Complex’ in 2016)\, Coops signed to High Focus Records in 2017 and quickly released two critically acclaimed projects in just a year – the introductory ‘No Brainer’ and the full length opus ‘Life In The Flesh’.
