The band – made up of Ali Riaz Baqar (guitar and composer)\, Zohaib Hassan Khan (sarangi) and Kashif Ali Dhani (tablas and percussion) – embody the spirit of “whatever/whoever” crafting sounds that resonate deeply and universally. \n\n\n\nJaubi perform alongside Tara Lily\, a South-London\, British Bengali musician whose eclectic style stitches together R&B\, jazz\, electronic\, and traditional sounds – creating something entirely her own . The rising star – who doubles as a classically trained jazz musician – has expanded on her sound recently\, working with collaborators like Theo Croker and King Krule. \n\n\n\nJaubi unveil their highly anticipated sophomore album A Sound Heart in summer 2024 via their own imprint\, Riaz Records.
