Madison Washington: Baytrified ft JTOTHEC

Baytrified acts as Madison Washington’s nostalgic ode to the Bay Area, the hometown of one half of the duo, Malik Ameer. Awash with the funk, it recalls George Clinton both in production (courtesy of the other half, Sheffield’s thatmanmonkz) plus keys and vocals from Belgian soul maestro JTOTHEC, as its lyrics address the gentrification of the area.

The single is lifted from forthcoming debut LP FACTS, and is backed by non-album tack Djedet (Jed-Et), featuring Washington D.C. based composer and saxophonist, Brian Lee Settles.
