On Wax / Ebo Taylor: Yen Ara on Mr Bongo Records

The brand new album from Ghanaian legend Ebo Taylor is out now and available to buy on wax from Mr Bongo Records. Given our Spring has been so ridiculously grey, Yen Ara’s high energy afrobeat and highlife is pretty much a must buy. The LP was produced by Justin Adams (Tinariwen, Rachid Taha, Robert Plant) and recorded at Electric Monkey Studio in Amsterdam, and features local musicians The Saltpond City Band, which includes two of Ebo’s sons.
