J-Felix, Patience ft Abi Flynn

Brighton’s J-Felix has a new single out 15 June on digi for Tru Thoughts, following on from the fantastic 101 Reasons EP at the top of the year.

Patience is gorgeously smooth, courtesy of Abi Flynn backed by lush instrumentation.

Eighties boogie is a term thrown about a lot (I saw some lamenting the term when Okayplayer reposted this Whispers video this week) but I’d be happy to throw it at J-F for Late Night SOS, which is mega funk.

Great news that the full length is done and dusted – also entitled 101 Reasons, expect it around summer time.
