Mr. E writes for this very site, so I’ll let him explain what this unexpected midweek aural equivalent to a sherbet double-dip (but withouth the minging stick) is: 

I suppose this mix has been about 8 years in the making. J and I spent our teenage years exploring the craft of DJing together, playing underground hip-hop and D’n’B at school discos and friends’ parties amidst barrages of Rihanna requests. Finally, after many attempts in our teenage years, we’ve managed to record something together (despite being at different ends of the country).

The mix encompasses Hip-Hop, Beats, Footwork, T**p, Jungle and D’n’B, and features an exclusive track from J’s ‘2Kings’ project – a collaboration with his brother-from-his-actual-mother. Our styles have developed since our school days, but the mix is essentially just a continuation of what we were doing back then. We hope you enjoy it.

And yeah, we named ourselves after a brandy because we’re Ballers.
