Dj YODA “AV Scratch Spectacular show” & Dj Woody’s Big Fat 90’s AV show!
Duncan Beiny aka DJ Yoda is no ordinary scratch DJ. Nor is he your average VDJ. Yoda has consistently redefined the parameters of turntablism to create a must-see live show for anyone with even the most passing interest in music and/or popular culture.
Yoda brilliantly combines the essence of scratching with cutting edge AV technology to create a mesmerising fusion of surreal samples and mind-boggling visual effects to make the audience dance, laugh and just go outright barmy.
With a hip-hop set that can take a crowd through a mind-bending dub-step Susan Boyle remix via Jurassic 5 into an Inspector Gadget dub – complete with blistering visual cuts – Q Magazine have declared Yoda “one of the ten DJs to see before you die”, whilst Hip Hop Connection voted him “one of the top three DJs in the world.

Movement resident and 2 x DMC champion DJ Woody will be on hand to provide his own inimitable support to this AV spectacular.
For over a decade, Burnley-born Woody has cemented legendary status by collaborating with some of the biggest producers and MCs in hip hop. His live ‘Turntables in Technicolor’ AV show has continued to garner universal acclaim at some of the biggest festivals and stages across the world.

The Hip Hop Chip Shop was founded by a bunch of Manchester-based rap-scallions who have a love for hip hop, humour and fish and chips.
