I’m always a sucker for some rock ‘n’ roll blues, but it’s rare that it works with other sounds… round hole, square peg, sometimes. I’ll give you the All About The Benjamins remix as a goer, solely because Rob Zombie AND Dave Grohl made appearances. Biohazard x Onyx doing Slam was another. Terrorvision x Salt ‘n’ Pepa on Top of the Pops… mebbe. My pals 3 Colours Red made an attempt with Mystique on CD:UK once too.

Anyhow, here come KINGS OF THE CITY, who in my humble opinion pull a spaghetti bolognese of genres off pretty well. The EP is free and there’s more in the back catalogue if you fumble around their Bandcamp. Fuck genres, anyway, I gave up on those a long time ago. David Bowie taught me that. I was so disappointed when those supermodels popped out rather than him in the closing ceremony, but meh.
