This pair never let us down, do they? Souleance, aka Fulgeance and DJ Soulist, are back on First Word Records with a new 12″. It’s five tracks of eclectic beats, party music all the way but with a malleable dancefloor in mind: high energy for Partay and Bamboule, soulful hip hop head nods for That Guy, J’aime Marcher and Brown Bags. Von Pea of the excellent Tanya Morgan lends lyricism to That Guy, an unexpected bonus in already delicious package.
