Exclusive first look: Paper Tiger’s I’m A Cyborg (But That’s Okay) Live

First and foremost a band who kill it when it comes to live performances, witness here a live version of Paper Tiger’s first taste of new music in 2016, complete with added vocals from the don Raphael Attar.

You might have caught the free download from XLR8R last week (and if you didn’t, here it is) and it certainly is ‘funkier and weirder’ (according to Greg Surmacz from the band) and more immediate than their previous output.

The forthcoming album will be out on Wah Wah 45s in late May (featuring Chester Watson and Stones Throw’s Pyramid Vritra, and mastered by Daddy Kev of Low End Theory), preceded by a single with Grammy-winner and Sa-Ra member Shafiq Husayn.  Have a rustle through their previous releases over on Bandcamp.

Filmed at The Others – Stoke Newington, London
Recorded live with no overdubs
