Hot 8 Brass Band: Sexual Healing remixes inc J Felix, Werkha, Ibibio Sound Machine and Maddslinky

Hot 8’s cover of Sexual Healing was a landmark release, initially only 500 copies of the 12″ which was quickly repressed by Tru Thoughts. It remains their biggest hit, and you may not know they’re celebrating 20 years as a group with the album Vicennial. This remix package is wicked, my favourite being J Felix’s re-rub which recalls Marvin Gaye’s ’80s vibe brilliantly.
