¡Vamos! Leeds Latin Festival – Sat 1 August 2015
A one day, free Latin festival hits Leeds on 1 August, with a load of local live acts, DJs, street art, food, dance classes, children’s games y mucho mas.

A fusion of contemporary Afro-Colombian, Congolese and Latin music with a Pacifico vibe and presenting their Leeds debut!

Playing Brazilian bossa nova, MPB and samba rock Jorge Ben/Seu Jorge style
▶ CUBAVIDA
Manchester based Cubans who feature timba, son Cubano, rumba, Cuban jazz and salsa Cubana in their sets
▶ HANNABIELL & MIDNIGHT BLUE
International act with feel-good tribal grooves
▶ MAMBO CON RUMBO
100% homegrown, the Yorkshire salsa band made by dancers for dancers
▶ ELEMENT DANCE COMPANY

▶ HONEYDRUM SAMBA SCHOOL
Established in 1995 they develop community through music and dance using drum rhythms, songs and movement. On the day expect African, Conga and Samba riddims!
▶ PLUS DJ LUBI & DJ FABIO BAHIA
The two DONS, between them they run the biggest Latin/Salsa/Brazilian parties in Leeds – Calle Ocho, Viva La Musica and Made In Brazil – and they will be playing all day at the festival between live acts and dance shows.
