One third of Ugly Heroes (together with Apollo Brown and Verbal Kent) Red Pill has dropped a three track EP to celebrate signing a multi album deal with the fiercely independent Mello Music Group.
Red says: So here is my first offering as a solo artist on Mello Music Group. We wanted to give people something to get a feel for what we are working on musically. Enjoy and feel free to share!
He’s not short on producer talent here, with Oddisee offering a dope, typically soulful statement of intent. Apollo Brown‘s All Of Us is ‘an emotional and well thought out response to the violence and brutality recently shoved into the forefront of American communities’. The trio is rounded out by the west coast’s Duke Westlake with One Day.
A no-bullshit, soulful three tracker that deserves your attention.
