Manchester pays tribute to Doctor Who at 50

The Lass O’Gowrie is a pinnacle of modern day Manchester culture and pioneers in fringe theatre, themed get togethers, screenings and the like. November 16-30 sees the pub take on one of its most dear subjects: the Doctor.

This will be two weeks of guest stars (Waris Hussein introduces An Unearthly Child!  Phil Collinson introduces the Doctor on the cobbles!), theatre, beer and Whovians. I’ll update here with dates when the lovely poster is done.

Doctor Who is fifty years old on the 23rd November, 2013 and four of Manchester’s best loved venues are teaming up with a host of events over two weeks to celebrate. New drama, live episodes, screenings, poetry. With more goodies than you can shake a sonic screwdriver at, it’s truly bigger on the inside!
