With residents any club night in the world should be jealous of (Kutmah [KXXTZ], Om Unit, Blue Daisy, Kidkanevil & Offshore), Tempo Clash’s fourth podcast turns attention to the Cosmic Bridge crew in celebration of their takeover this coming Saturday…
Here’s some background… Back in July 2011 Om Unit announced the launch of his very own label Cosmic Bridge Records. From the labels first release (the 12” Solar Cycle / Merkabah collaboration between Om Unit and Kromestar) it was clear that a platform had been put in place for new and established producers to explore the most futuristic and unworldly electronic sounds.
The label, now on its sixth release has been nothing short of prolific, with Moresounds, EAN and Danny Scrilla each firmly solidifying their own unique production styles with critically acclaimed EP releases. The work of legendary producer Kromestar on Cosmic Bridge has also been somewhat inspiring, with his Parallel Sounds EP turning out to be one of the best electronic works of 2011.
Since its inception few have matched the labels originality and consistency, which is why Tempo Clash are delighted to reveal that all five Cosmic Bridge artists will be playing under the same roof for the very first time…. December 1st, Birthdays basement, 250 capacity, Funktion One sound… Cosmic Bridge Records take over.
