Gig LDN: DEVIATION Benji B, Skream, Illum Sphere

Amazing weekend. Started off supporting Snowboy and the Sound Stylistics at the fantastic Band on the Wall venue in Manchester, top sound system. Keep an eye out for the upcoming Delta Rhythm Section (pseudonym for some older Stylistics stuff) album on Mocambo where Groovement has written the sleeve notes. Moving on, driven by the getaway-driver like capabilities of el Boperson, the Nook in Chorlton was absolutely shaken to the ground by the ROOTS BEFORE BRANCHES crew throwing down soul vinyl diamonds all the way. Fantastic house party vibes in the basement…
